CAP Engineering is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Material Tester and Surveyor to join our team. This dual-role position requires experience in conducting material tests and performing accurate land surveys to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Material Testing:
    • Conduct field and laboratory tests on construction materials (e.g., soil, concrete, asphalt).
    • Prepare and analyze test samples to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records and report test results to relevant stakeholders.
  2. Surveying:
    • Perform topographic and boundary surveys using advanced surveying equipment.
    • Establish and verify control points, alignments, and elevations.
    • Collaborate with the project team to interpret survey data and ensure alignment with design plans.
  3. General Duties:
    • Operate and maintain testing and surveying equipment.
    • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
    • Coordinate with engineers and project managers to address any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Applicable degree or diploma
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
