Civil Designer

Edmonton, Alberta

At CAP Engineering, our purpose is to inspire people, embrace challenges and achieve success, and with this in mind, it is essential that our team consists of the right people – are you a “CAP person”? Are you ready for a challenge?

CAP is a company with offices in Edmonton, Whitehorse, and St. John’s. We pride ourselves in being responsive and adaptable to our client’s needs. This means our staff are exposed to a diverse range of project opportunities across Canada in mining, transportation, municipal, renewables and utility industries. CAP people embrace this challenge and are adaptable to whatever comes their way.

A CAP person thinks big and not only identifies problems but takes initiative to help find innovative solutions. They thrive in logistically challenging situations and will do whatever it takes to get the job done, regardless of their job description.

A CAP person believes that a team is stronger than the individual and that collaboration and partnering is essential to find the best solutions. They encourage continual improvement and share knowledge through mentoring of junior staff.

Our view is that effort = success. A CAP person is dedicated and driven to succeed and reach their full potential. They have goals outside of work, love to travel around the world and give back to the community. A CAP person creates the opportunities to socialize and maintain relationships with clients by attending industry events such as golf days, curling funspiels or ice-fishing derbies.

Are you a CAP Person? Will you embrace the challenge of building something special? If so, CAP could be the place for you.
