Topsail Road Widening & Storm Upgrades Phase 4

Topsail Road, Paradise is the busiest street in Paradise, Newfoundland and experiences traffic volumes in excess of 15,000 vehicles per day.  For this project, Topsail Road was widened from a narrow two-lane street to a four-lane street with a median turning lane.  The work ran for a total distance of 725m from Christopher Street to St. Thomas Line.

Engineering Design, Project Management

CAP acted as prime consultant on this project and completed design for all underground civil works while our sub-consultant completed road alignment, bridge design and pedestrian lights.  PEC managed the project from initiation until project close-out.  We completed detailed design, design management including coordination with sub-consultants, procurement management and administration, project controls, construction management, site inspection, project close out tasks and project management for the entire project on behalf of the Town of Paradise.
